October 1, (by resolution 45/106) designated as the International Day of Older Persons by the United Nations General Assembly.
The onset of COVID-19 has brought sudden twists and turns in the lives of people, especially in the lives of our senior citizens. Norms for living life has changed to a large extent and this evolution is the new normal. From the lockdown phase to unlock-4, the government has been trying its best to bring back the life of the people to the pre-pandemic level.
